Philosophy of Service:

During more than 20 years of working with people experiencing life concerns, I have become increasingly impressed with how the thinking, emotional, bodily and spiritual needs of each person are interwoven and important in the healing process. To help in their journey towards finding this healing, a goal of restoring balance is sought, with an awareness of the unique challenges this involves.

Focus of Therapy:

As a process, therapy seeks to assist each person discover strengths, develop plans, and take steps towards solving the unique problems they bring to the therapy. In addition, to help the person find and understand the needs and forces which may lie beneath their concerns. The awareness of and caring for the spiritual is a central part of this holistic process.

Areas of Specialty:

Many concerns are brought to therapy, and help offered in areas of concern which include: depression, anxiety, couples-family relationships, grief, post-traumatic stress, and care for the severely and persistently mentally ill. To provide understanding of an individual’s intellectual and personal functioning, assessments can be performed to meet the requests of the Court, for disability determination, and job readiness.
