Often people have unfounded fears that keep them from getting the help they need. Instead of overcoming the few real problems they have, they give in to a lifetime of imaginary ones. The best way to address life's challenges is to talk about them with someone who can help. The most important step for renewal for you or any family member... is the first step – talk to someone who can help.

At Lutheran Counseling Center we welcome every call, and promise to devote the full measure of our experience to finding comfortable, lasting solutions.

Lutheran Counseling Center (LCC)

Lutheran Counseling Center (LCC) is a ministry of Christian, Minnesota State licensed, caring counseling professionals, working with individuals, couples, families and congregations for over 17 years. We do not limit our clients to the Lutheran denomination, but see anyone who wants to come to our clinic.

Unlike virtually all other agencies, each LCC counselor has subscribed to the guiding Christian Counseling Covenant.

LCC Counseling Process

The process is a partnership. New clients meet with a practitioner who is caring, concerned and skilled in helping the client explore the life event that is in crisis or need. The practitioner consistently recognizes the client as a beloved and valued creation of our Lord regardless of the issue. The process then becomes recognizing where the client is presently at in their life and how to move the client through the problem area to a more balanced life.

A Variety of Payment Options

This agency accepts most mental health insurance. In addition, LCC offers a sliding fee based on income for those without insurance.

A Variety of Locations

The LCC business office is located in Burnsville and we have various counseling locations throughout the Twin Cities and southern Minnesota. We continue striving to open new locations so that more individuals may take advantage of true Christian mental health care.

LCC receives a significant portion of its funding from the generous donations of individuals and churches. Without continuing donations LCC would not be able to provide Christian mental health care to all who need it. Please join in our ministry of helping those in need.
