Those whose lives are impacted by a mental illness/biological brain disorder have a long and arduous journey ahead of them. Advances in research, improved medications and treatment provide some hope, but caring Christian congregations offer a hope that endures because it is based on the promises in God’s Word and in the expression of God’s love as congregations respond to those who are hurting.

“Hope that Endures: Congregations respond to mental illness” is an opportunity to learn more about mental illnesses/biological brain disorders and offering hope to those whose lives are touched by these disorders.

Please join us on Saturday, September 27th, 9am-12noon, at Woodbury Lutheran Church, Woodbury. This event is sponsored by the Lutheran Mental Health Initiative team under the auspices of the Lutheran Counseling Center. Registration is $10.00 by September 24th or at the door. Call Lutheran Counseling Center at (952) 894-4828, ext. 102 for more information.
