Lutheran Counseling Center (LCC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors. LCC strives to provide Christian mental health care counseling to all those in need regardless of their financial situation in accordance with God's Word. We work with individuals, couples and families by emphasizing the spiritual relationship between the individual and God, and how this relationship affects daily interactions and behaviors. We stress that a relationship with Christ is an essential part of peoples' day-to-day lives and encourage people to engage in regular church activities. We do not limit our clients to the Lutheran denomination only, but see anyone who wants to come to our clinic.
Each
of our counselors is a caring Christian mental health professional
with their faith rooted firmly in the Bible as the inspired and trustworthy
Word of God. Unlike virtually all other agencies, each LCC counselor
has subscribed to the guiding Christian Counseling
Covenant. Each counselor has earned educational degrees to at least
the Masters level from accredited institutions and is licensed by the
State of Minnesota in their respective disciplines. And each counselor
performs with the highest degree of confidentiality.

Some issues that we work with are parenting and single-parent issues, troubled marriages, abuse and/or violent relationship issues, and family stresses. We treat a variety of anxiety, depression, and adjustment problems. We work with issues of grief, loss and career transition. Since we are a Christian counseling agency, we can also help with spiritual issues from a Biblical perspective.
We
can file insurance claims to many insurance carriers, but if you don't
have insurance or we can't use your insurance for some reason, we do
have a sliding fee that is based on annual
household income.
